The Student Appeal Review Committee at Tunghai University is composed of 25 members, including 13 faculty representatives and 12 student representatives. Members of any one gender must constitute no less than one-third of the total.
To safeguard students’ rights to education, campus life, and fair treatment, and to promote campus harmony, students, the Student Association, and other relevant student self-governing organizations may file an appeal if they believe a disciplinary action, administrative measure, or decision made by the university is illegal or improper and has harmed their rights or interests.
The student appeal system serves as a remedy mechanism to protect students' rights and should be based on actual harm to those rights. It differs from general feedback or opinions. For student complaints, suggestions, reports, or other forms of feedback, the university will follow the appropriate procedures to handle them.
For appeals related to campus bullying, please contact the Student Assistance Division, and for gender-related appeals, please contact the Secretariat.
