The Student Appeal Review Committee of our school is composed of 25 members, including 13 faculty representatives and 12 student representatives. Members of any one gender account for at least one-third of the total membership.
To protect students’ rights to education, learning, and campus life while promoting harmony on campus, students, the Student Union, and other related student self-governance organizations may file an appeal in accordance with the law if they believe that any disciplinary action, measure, or decision made by the school is illegal or improper and has infringed upon their rights or interests.
The student appeal system serves as a remedial mechanism for safeguarding students’ rights and should be based on actual infringement of student rights. This differs from expressing opinions. For the smooth handling of student feedback, opinions expressed through petitions, suggestions, reports, or other means will be addressed in accordance with relevant procedures.
For appeals related to campus bullying, please contact the Student Affairs Office’s Student Counseling Section. For appeals regarding gender-related incidents, please contact the Secretariat.
